How to Style / Florals

Hi!

How to Style FloralsWe’re very excited to share a new feature with you all today! From time to time, Lulu and I will have one of our lovely dolls model different ways to wear a certain style; today’s topic, with it being spring and all, is florals :) Have you rocked a floral pattern yourself this season?

Floral BlouseWith a floral blouse, rolled up jeans, and oxford shoes, Hannah most definitely has a retro vibe! When it comes to your doll wearing a floral shirt, we suggest looking at the shape of the piece to style the rest of the outfit. This blouse, for example, has a neckline with a perfectly oversized bow, so keeping the bottom simple was key.

Floral ScarfWhen it comes to floral accessories, sticking to the same color palate is a smart idea. In this example, we pulled the green and pink from Hannah’s scarf {which is actually one of Lulu’s headbands!} to pair it with a jade green tee and a bubblegum pink skirt. Of course, the upcoming month of April brings lots of showers, so rain boots are a must :)

Floral SkirtA floral skirt can easily work for a spring party, but when it’s needed for a more casual affair, we like it paired with a fun tee. Again, keeping the color combination consistent helps the outfit look pulled together and stylish.

Floral DressFinally, we love a chic cardigan matched with a gorgeous floral-patterned dress for spring! The hair shouldn’t be too complicated, so the dress can really shine. For added fun, shoes with subtle details {those bows are adorable} can finish off the outfit.

What other things would you like to see styled in the future? Happy Saturday, friends!

  2. Fabulous outfits and advice! #2 is my favorite because of the idea on re-purposing a headband. I have a quite a few, but they don’t stay in my hair, so if I wash them I could use them as infinity scarves. Thank you!
