Staff Picks / January 2014

Hello!

Staff Picks January 2014It may be that January starts the new year, or just that all doll bloggers are amazing, but Lulu and I have been so impressed with all of the awesome posts lately! It’s hard to pick our favorites each month, but we were able to narrow it down to these six. Go check them all out, okay?! :) {and make sure to comment too! You may not realize it, but if any bloggers are like us, comments make our day. No lie.}

1 / It may be in the middle of a snowstorm where we live, but Lulu and I were able to instantly escape to the beach with the Salty’s photo shoot. Elizabeth and Chrissa are sending some summer-y vibes!

2 / Liz at American Girl Fan always has the best doll “recipes,” and her latest mac ‘n’ cheese craft is no exception! The craft looks simple to make, and there’s no arguing at how realistic the result is.

3 / As such a big fan of the line, Lulu appreciates the fantastic job Emily from Toy Box Philosopher did comparing the Ever After High and Monster High versions of the Cupid doll. Her photos are gorgeous, and Lulu {and I!} will definitely be going on her blog more often.

4 / This next one isn’t a post, but it was too fun not to include! Lulu got this adorable penguin-making craft kit from Michael’s a few weeks ago; it was the perfect activity to spend our snow day. The stuffed animals are super easy to make, and they end up oh-so cute!

5 / I am in love with this new blog, From Echo with Love, featuring the lovely doll, Echo! The photos are so well-done, and I look forward to seeing what is posted each day. {I mean, have you seen this photo story?}

6 / Finally, we can’t wait to tune in to the Olympics next month, and over at The Real Thing with the Coake Family, they’re getting into the mood early. These cool sleds are the perfect way for your dolls to participate in the fun too!

Have a terrific night!
Bella

    • I think the Monster High Cupid doll is cute too, but so is the EAH one :) I guess considering that she’s not really a monster or a fairytale though, she doesn’t really match either theme.
      Thanks for commenting!

    • Hi Eunice!
      We love American Girl Fan too! And as a note, we get you want to self-promote your blog, but from our perspective, it kind of makes us NOT to want to check out your site. Just a thought! Thanks again for commenting, though! :)
